Councilman has worked hard for Marlboro
Two months ago, Marlboro Township Councilman Jeff Cantor was deployed to the war front in Afghanistan, leaving his family to fulfill his duty as a soldier. As a fellow Marlboro resident, I am proud of Councilman Cantor, who is serving this country in Afghanistan.

Freedom should not be taken for granted. As an ex-Air Force fighter pilot, I know the personal sacrifices a soldier makes when going into the battlefield to protect and secure the freedom of the country.

When Councilman Cantor was deployed to Iraq several years back, he worked to bring the community together and the local people elected him as the honorary mayor of their town in Iraq. As an elected member to the Marlboro Township Council, Councilman Cantor continues to serve our town with integrity, loyalty, passion and sincerity.

He works for the betterment of Marlboro and is a people's person who respects and cares for human beings of all different backgrounds. As long as I have known Councilman Cantor, he has been an EMT. When he is not on the war front serving our country, he is on call at home ready to serve our residents in an emergency.

When it comes to service and sacrifice, Councilman Cantor knows no boundaries between the town, county, state and country.

Let us also not forget his family who is waiting for him to come home safe and healthy. Marlboro should be proud and thankful to Councilman Cantor and his family. He is a real hero and Marlboro's son. May God bless Jeff Cantor and his family.
