• The Goddard School, 50 Route 520, Morganville section of Marlboro, will host a Jingle Bell Jump at 10 a.m. Dec. 2 to raise money for the Children's Arthritis Foundation. They will be covering all floors with bubble wrap and each child will wear jingle bells on their ankles and jump on the bubble wrap to the music of the "Jingle Bell Rock." • Manalapan Township will be participating in the 14th annual Jersey Cares Coat Drive. Gently used coats may be dropped off at the Manalapan Township municipal building, 120 Route 522 (corner of Taylors Mills Road) in the Administration office. Coats will be collected until Dec. 11. • The annual Christmas wreath sale sponsored by Farmingdale Cub Scout Pack 13 and Farmingdale Boy Scout Troop 13 will be held Nov. 27-29 and Dec. 5-6 on Main Street in Farmingdale. Friday and Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday hours are 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wreaths are $20; small and large crosses and candy canes will also be available for $15 and $20. The Jingle Shop, which has inexpensive gifts for the whole family, will also be available. Gifts will be wrapped and tagged free of charge.

• A community Hanukkah party for Jewish youths in grades four through six will be held from 4-6 p.m. Dec. 6 at Solomon Schechter Day School, 22 School Road East, Marlboro. The $5 admission fee includes dinner, snacks and DJ entertainment. New, unwrapped toys will be collected to benefit Chai Lifeline, an organization that provides toys for sick children. • Marlboro Board of Education will hold a public hearing Dec. 8 for the purposes of receiving input from the public regarding the renegotiation, extension, amendment or alteration of an employment contract with the assistant superintendent and school business administrator/board secretary. Members of the public are invited to submit public comments regarding the terms and conditions of the above mentioned employment agreements. The board will not publicly discuss personnel matters and will not respond to comments made by members of the public, however, the board will give all comments appropriate consideration.
