Darrell Reid to host football camp

Former Freehold High School gridiron standout Darrell Reid is returning home to conduct a football camp.

Reid, who won a Super Bowl ring with the Indianapolis Colts and now plays for the Denver Broncos, will host a free non-contact football camp for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13 on June 27 at Freehold High School, Robertsville Road, Freehold Borough.

The camp is being held in collaboration with Reid’s Footz Foundation, the NFL and the YMCA of Western Monmouth County.

The camp will be held in two sessions.

The first session with begin at 9:30 a.m. and is for players between the ages of 6 and 9.

The second session will start at noon and is for players between the ages of 10 and 13.

Space is limited to 75 children per session, and pre-registration is required. Registration forms may be downloaded from the YMCA website at ymcanj.org.
