      The Scarlet Rouses of Freehold, a red hat group, meets on the second Wednesday of each month at the Freehold Township Senior Center, Jackson Mills Road, at 11 a.m. New members are always welcome. Those over age 50 are redhatter; those under age 50 are princess/pinkie and wear a pink hat. No dues or fees, but Scarlet Rouse members must also be members of the Freehold Township Senior Center.       The Freehold Borough Board of Education will hold a special meeting and executive session May 7 in the library of the Park Avenue Complex, 280 Park Ave., Freehold.       A benefit for Bella McGovern of Colts Neck, a 5-year-old girl who suffers from tuberous sclerosis, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 9 at the Conover Road Primary School, 56 Conover Road, Colts Neck. Bella is in a pre-kindergarten class at the school. The event will feature Mr. Willis and Friends performing, plus a bake sale, raffles and more.
