      The Italian American Association of Monmouth County will hold an open house and general meeting at 7:30 p.m. March 25 at St. Mary's Church in Madonna Hall, Route 34 and Phalanx Road, Colts Neck. Anyone 21 years of age or older is invited to attend.

Dinner dance honors rabbi's 25th year at Marlboro synagogue
      A dinner dance was recently held at Temple Rodeph Torah, Marlboro, in honor of Rabbi Donald Weber's 25th anniversary as the synagogue's leader. Close to 150 guests attended the event including Marlboro Mayor Jon Hornik, who presented Weber with a certificate proclaiming Jan. 31 as Rabbi Donald Weber Day in Marlboro.

      Brookdale Community College (BCC), Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown, will hold an open house at noon March 29 at Warner Student Life Center. A general session expo will follow in the Robert J. Collins Arena.

Yosi Levin to perform at kids' concert/dance
      Yosi Levin, children's rocker, will host a concert/dance party April 5 at 2:30 p.m. at Temple Rodeph Torah, 15 Mohawk Drive, Marlboro. Artisan studio SPCA benefit continues
      The Valentine's Day art show at Artisan Studios, 9 North Main St. (Route 79), Marlboro, was such a great success that they will be offering it again on March 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show "ANimaLgination" is all about animals.

      • The Freehold Art Society will hold a meeting and demonstration at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan, at 7 p.m. March 25. Ruth Bie Brown, a folk artist and teacher from Millstone Township, will present a demonstration of portrait painting. The meeting is free and open to the public.
