'Gift of Harmony' show at school Dec. 7

"The Gift of Harmony," a performance of barbershop music with a holiday theme, will be held 3 p.m. Dec. 7 at Ocean Township High School, West Park Avenue, Oakhurst section of Ocean Township.

The show will feature Rebel Yell, an a cappella chorus from Howell Regional High School. The Chorus of the Atlantic or Red Bank Area Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, will also perform. The concert will feature holiday selections arranged in barbershop harmony and showcase the Matinee Idles, a chorus of retired gentlemen. Men interested in learning to sing in four-part harmony and to perform in the holiday show are invited to open rehearsals held 7:30-10 p.m. Tuesdays at the Red Bank Middle School, Harding Road.
