Auxiliaries to host 2008 Fall Boutique The two-day fundraising event is being sponsored by the CentraState Associated Auxiliaries, according to the auxiliary's President Valerie MacPhee, and Gerri Silverman, chairwoman of fundraising. The event is being held to raise funds to help meet the $250,000 pledge the auxiliary has made over a five-year period. To date, Silverman said, $150,000 of the pledge has been made. The CentraState Associated Auxiliaries pledged the funds to support the new ambulatory campus, which houses a health awareness center and a fitness and wellness center, a physical therapy facility, cardiac rehabilitation, a multiple sclerosis center and the wound care department. The auxiliaries are celebrating their 42nd year of support for the CentraState Healthcare System. The efforts of the associated auxiliaries have contributed more than $2.5 million. It is the mission of the auxiliaries to "continue in their endeavors to assist CentraState Healthcare System in enhancing the health and well being of the community through the compassionate delivery of quality healthcare." Vendor at the Oct. 11-12 event will include Mary Kay cosmetics and Arbonne skin care products, There will be kitchenware, glassware and flatware; accessories including scarves, sunglasses and wallets; clothing and jewelry. Organizational products for the home will be available from Caiz Unlimited; Discovery Toys will be represented, along with the Pampered Chef and Nutrilite Vitamins. Cruise One in Marlboro will donate a percentage of the proceeds from individuals who book a cruise with the company. Perry Rosenblum of Englishtown Antiques will examine and appraise antiques for $5 an item. The Halloween contest will be held on Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. for children ages 2-5. Prizes will be awarded for the cutest, funniest and scariest costumes. The Halloween contest will be held for children ages 6-8 on Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. in the same categories.
