Freehold Elks plan many community fundraisers

Freehold Elks Lodge No. 1454, 73 East Main St., Freehold, will host the fundraisers to benefit Western Monmouth community scholarships, Scouts, special-needs children and veterans:

• The Women's Auxiliary is selling the Entertainment 2009 book at $25 each. Details: (732) 462-2647.

• Sunday breakfast, cooked to order, 9 a.m.-noon Sept. 21. Cost: $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 12 and under.

• The Women's Auxiliary will host its annual Psychic Fair 6:30 p.m. Oct. 3. Psychics with various specialties such as astrology, numerology, Angel Card readings, and more will be on hand for readings. Admission is $10; readings are $10. Refreshments are included. Details: 732 685-9493.

• The Women's Auxiliary will host a Porch Sale in conjunction with the borough's Community Yard Sale 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 11. Items and refreshments will be for sale.

• A Charity Chili Cook-Off to benefit the Special Needs Children's Committee will be 1-5 p.m. Oct. 18. Admission: $10, includes chili, soda or draft beer. Those who wish to bring chili must preregister. (732) 249-7836.
