Paper did fine job on story about Israeli girls
On behalf of Chabad of Western Monmouth County, I want to thank the News Transcript for the outstanding article ("Israeli Guests Enjoying N.J. Summer of Peace"), which appeared on July 23, about the girls from Sderot, Israel, who were brought by Chabad to spend a month in our community.

News Transcript staff writer Rebecca Morton did an excellent job of relating both the girls' plight in Israel and their experiences in western Monmouth County.

The many local residents and businesses who hosted, entertained, chauffered and chaperoned the girls should be applauded as well. All of those who met the teenagers were enriched and enlightened by the experience.

Thank you again to the News Transcript for sharing this special program with the entire eestern Monmouth County community.
