Hall of Fame seeks nominees

Nominations are being sought for recognition in the Freehold High School Hall of Fame. Graduates of Freehold High School who have distinguished themselves in a variety of fields (excluding athletics) and have proven to be positive role models to current high school students are eligible.

Past honorees include artist/sculptor Jim Gary, television/Broadway star David Garrison, vocalist/soloist Juanita Baskerville Brown, and all graduates who have served in the military.

Anyone who knows of a Freehold High School graduate who meets the abovestated criteria can send that person's name, year of graduation, and a brief explanation of his/her career achievements to Susan Shrott, Freehold High School, 2 Robertsville Road, Freehold 07728. Those nominating the graduates must include their names and a contact number.

The names of staff members who worked at Freehold High School for 25 or more years are also being sought for inclusion in the school's "Quarter Century Club." Names, years of service, job titles, dates of employment, and contact numbers for the potential honorees and/or their family members may be sent to the address above.

All information must be received by Sept. 1.
