CentraState Aux. award scholarships to students

The Associate Auxiliaries of CentraStateMedical Center recently awarded $500 scholarships to four individuals in the community who have chosen to pursue a career in the medical field. A review committee who examined each applicant's transcripts, application forms, essays and letters of recommendation chose the following recipients:

Anthony Comuniello, Manalapan High School; Angelica Parmegiani, Notre Dame High School; Kelly Predmore, Allentown High School and William Largen, a Millstone Township Resident attending Temple University College of Medicine were this year's outstanding recipients.

CentraState's Associated Auxiliaries led the public effort to create a hospital in western Monmouth County more than 40 years ago. Since its opening in 1971, the auxiliaries have raised millions of dollars toward the growth and development of CentraState. Money invested by the auxiliaries for annual scholarships have helped to ease the expenses in the pursuit of medical studies of over 43 recipients since 1999.
