Anna Applegate Jasko Vamos

Mrs. Vamos, 92, of Danville, Va., died June 9, 2008, at Danville Regional Medical Center, Danville, Va. Born in Freehold, she resided there before moving to Virginia 20 years ago. Mrs. Vamos was a nurse at the former Perth Amboy General Hospital and the former Freehold Area Hospital, Freehold Township. Her first husband, Edward L. Jasko Sr., died in 1956. Her second husband, Andrew Vamos, died in 1989. Surviving are two sons and daughtersin law, Edward L. Jr. and Vicki Jasko, Freehold, and John A. and Jean Jasko, Danville, Va.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Memorial home, Freehold, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
