Air Force Airman 1st Class Deborah Tittle, the daughter of Joyce Howe of Colts Neck, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations. In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Navy Lt. Samir T. Mukherjee, son of Marinel T. Mukherjee of Freehold, and Ron K. Mukherjee of Freehold, recently graduated from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Bethesda, Md. Established in 1972, USU is the Department of Defense's military medical school that educates students for direct accession into the medical corps of the Navy, Army, Air Force and Public Health Service. The school of medicine is a year-round, fouryear program that includes an additional 700 hours of study compared to other medical school curriculums. Additional subjects include health promotion, disease prevention, epidemiology, tropical medicine, leadership, field exercises and other topics related to the requirements of military physicians. Mukherjee is a 1999 graduate of Manalapan High School and joined the Navy in May 2004. He is a 2004 graduate of Macalester College, St. Paul, Minn., with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Marine Corps Pfc. Richard D. Reyes, whose wife, Jessica, is the daughter of Karen and Thomas Meer of Colts Neck, recently graduated from the Aviation Logistics Tactical Information Systems Course with Marine Detachment Naval Support Activity, Athens, Ga. During the 25-week course, Reyes received technical training on computer network information systems operation, installation, maintenance and repair. Reyes also received training of digital network infrastructures in support of the Naval Tactical Command Support System.

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Steven J. Gibb, the son of Pamela and Steven Gibb of Freehold, has graduated with honor from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations. In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. The airman is a 1997 graduate of Freehold Township High School, Freehold.
