Frederick Schollenberg

Mr. Schollenberg, 79, of Farmingdale, died June 7, 2008, at Tower Lodge Care Center in Wall. He was born in Howell and was a lifelong resident of the area. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was the owner of Stonex Cast Products Co. in Howell for 29 years, retiring in 1998. Mr. Schollenberg is survived by two brothers, Joseph of Atlantic Highlands and Albert of EggHarbor City; a sister,Amelia Ballard ofWall; six godsons, Louis Vasquez, James Duffin Jr., Sean Seber,DamonNolan, JonathanKarakowski and Kyle Hyer; andmany nieces and nephews.A funeral servicewas held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Chapel, followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery, both in Farmingdale. The Clayton& McGirr FuneralHome, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.
