Annual Concert & Movie in Park slated for June 14

Michael J. Tighe Park, 65 Georgia Road, Freehold Township will have a lot to offer June 14 when the fifth annual Concert andMovie in the Park begins at 3 p.m. Live bands will begin performing at 3:30 p.m. with headliners The Nerds taking the stage from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m.

Fireworks, provided by the Grucci family, will go off at 9 p.m. followed by an outdoor screening of the film "Field of Dreams," starring Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones. The film is rated PG.

In addition, the Old Glory Cruisers will present a "Don't Forget the Vet" car show. The first 100 cars that participate will receive free dash plaques. Trophies will be awarded.
