Nita Barbanell

Mrs. Barbanell, 78, of Monroe, formerly of Manalapan, diedMay 18, 2008, in RobertWood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Henry, died in 1986. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Aliza and Eli Blitzer of the Morganville section of Marlboro and Martha Barbanell of the Parlin section of Sayreville; a brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Evelyn Gruber of Florida; a grandson, Ronn Blitzer; and her partner, Ralph Zimmer. Services were held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan. Interment was in Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish National Fund.
