Mad Science summer program returns

The Manalapan Parks and Recreation department is sponsoring a "Mad Science" summer program for resident children. Two camps are being offered this year. "Survival, Predators and Prey" will take placeAug. 18-22 and "Space,AFinal Frontier" will be offered Aug. 25-29. Classes are open to children entering grades two through six in the fall. Classes are from 9 a.m. to noon. All sessions will be held at the Manalapan Recreation Center's Kuschick Pavilion on Route 522 in Manalapan.

The fee is $115 per registrant, per camp. This includes 15 hours of program. Space is limited to the first 20 registrants per class.Aminimum of 12 participants is needed for each program to occur. Registrations will be accepted online, by mail or at the Manalapan Parks and Recreation office, located at 120 Route 522 in Manalapan. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
