Suzanne "Sue" J. Micallef

Mrs. Micallef, 51, of Howell, died May 2, 2008, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Prior to being the director of nursing atMonmouth Crossing, Freehold Township, she was a nurse at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and a hospice nurse throughout Monmouth County. Mrs. Micallef was predeceased by her mother, Theresa, in 2005. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Dr. DonaldM. Micallef; four sons, twins Eric and Scott, Donald P., and Tyler, all at home; her father, Peter LaPlaca of Howell; a sister, Rosanne Coffield and her husband, David, of Medford Lakes; and a sister-in-law, Marissa Schiavello, and her husband, David. A funeral Mass was celebrated at the Church of St. Veronica, Howell, followed by entombment in St. Gabriel's Mausoleum, Marlboro. Arrangements were by the Clayton and McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of St. Veronica.
