Manalapan Battleground Prep Orchestra to play The Manalapan Battleground Prep Orchestra will perform two spring concerts in May. The first concert will take place on May 14 at 7:15 p.m. at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan. The second concert will take place on May 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 211 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township. All are welcome to attend. The performances will feature the combined junior and advanced orchestra, under the direction of Angela McCurdy of Manalapan, and the Advanced String Ensemble, conducted by Nancy Granda, of Jackson (formerly of Manalapan). The Manalapan Battleground Prep Orchestra consists ofmembers of various ages ranging from7 to adult.Members hail from Manalapan and surrounding towns. Orchestramembers practice weekly fromSeptember to May at Manalapan High School. The Manalapan Battleground Prep Orchestra is sponsored by the Manalapan Parks and Recreation Department.
