Anton Belov is artist-inresidence at theater

State Theatre, 15 LivingstonAve., New Brunswick, has announced that baritone Anton Belov is this year's Bristol-Myers Squibb artist-in- residence and will appear in a variety of settings during his residencyMay 12-23. He will also perform free at the theater May 21 at 7 p.m.

Belov will offer free performances, master classes and workshops throughout central New Jersey. He has performed in major opera houses and concert halls nationwide. Belov is the winner of eight vocal competitions and starred recently in Delaware Opera's production of Don Giovanni.

Belov's residency schedule is as follows: May 13 at 9 a.m., Middlesex County Adult Corrections Facility, North Brunswick; May 13 at 11 a.m. North Brunswick Township High School;May 19 at 1:25 p.m., Cambridge Elementary School, Kendall Park; May 21 at 10:30 a.m., Freehold Township High School; May 21 at 12:30 p.m., Colts Neck High School; and May 21 at 2 p.m., Marlboro High School; and May 23 at 2 p.m., Middlesex County Youth Shelter, North Brunswick.
