Free life-skills dinner series to begin

The Freehold Municipal Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug Abuse will offer a free dinner series that addresses concerns and issues faced by parents in today's society. The first workshop, offered May 10, will address "10 Steps to Keep Your Children Drug Free," and the second, "Understanding Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders" will be held May 22. Both will be held at the CentraState Health and Wellness Center, Main Street, Freehold Township, from 6 to 8 p.m. Free dinner and door prizes will be provided. Additional topics that will be addressed throughout the course of the spring will focus on parenting skills, drug Trends in New Jersey, and how to talk to kids about risky behaviors.
