History students advance to next level MANALAPAN- Pupils from the Manalapan EnglishtownMiddle School recently participated in the Southern Regional Division of the New Jersey National History Day Competition at Rider University. The theme of the competition was "Conflict and Compromise in American History." The students were mentored by teachers Shannon Maida and Jackie Colon, and Bruce Mitzak, supervisor of social studies.
