CentraState offers scuba certification classes

CentraState Healthcare System's Fitness & Wellness Center now offers a scuba-diving certification program consisting of five classroom and swimmingpool classes at the Fitness Center plus a two-day open-water certification dive at a Pennsylvania quarry. Taught by a master diver certified by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, the program is open to nonmembers as well as members. The first series of classes meets once a week starting April 17 from 7-10 p.m. The $550 program fee includes all necessary equipment except booties for the fins. The Fitness and Wellness Center is located at CentraState's new Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus at 901 W. Main St., Freehold, adjacent to CentraState Medical Center. Details: (732) 845-9400.
