Ruth Mauser

Mrs. Mauser, 92, a lifelong resident of the Howell-Farmingdale area, diedMarch 18, 2008, at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson. Along with her late husband,Mrs.Mauser owned and operated Mauser's Sinclair and Mauser's Fuel Oil, both of Farmingdale, and her own school bus transportation company for the Howell and Freehold school districts. She also worked at Foodtown in Freehold. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert, in 1968; a son, Ralph, in 1982; and a granddaughter, Tammy Luhrs, in 1993. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, A. William and Gayle Mauser of Bedford, Va.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Priscilla and Ellsworth McClaren and Linda and Tom O'Rorke, all of Howell; and nine grandchildren. Services were held at the Clayton &McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Adelphia Cemetery, the Adelphia section of Howell.
