Barnet E. Giventer

Mr. Giventer, 53, who resided in Old Bridge before moving to Freehold Township eight years ago, died March 11, 2008, in Perth Amboy. He was an attorney in private practice in Staten Island, N.Y., for the past 27 years. Mr. Giventer was predeceased by his father, Sidney Giventer. He is survived by his wife, Donna; a son, Evan, of Freehold Township; a daughter, Sara, of Freehold Township; his mother, Mildred, of Monroe; a brother, Curt, and his companion, Cynthia Hackett, of Saranac, N.Y.; and a sister in-law, Gerlyn, and her husband, Ronald Clark, of Port Monmouth. Funeral services were held at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, followed by interment. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.
