AnnaMarie Canzoneri

Mrs. Canzoneri, 96, died Feb. 26, 2008, at The Manor, Freehold Township. Born and raised in Passaic, she had lived in New York and Freehold before moving to Howell in 2007. She was a seamstress for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, Long Island City, N.Y., until her retirement in 1981. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, in 1977, and a sister, Josephine Castiglia, in 2006. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Ann Marie and John Derpich,Millstone; two sisters, Eleanor Kasenchar, Clifton, and Gloria Stacy, Passaic; and three granddaughters, Christine Loizos, Freehold Township, Jennifer Strickland, Clarksburg section of Millstone, and Michelle Derpich, Millstone Township. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Memorial donations may be made to the Vitas Hospice Care Charitable Fund, One Meridian Road, Suite 5, Eatontown, NJ 07724. Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, handled the arrangements.
