Angelo "Rocky" Roccuzzo

Mr. Roccuzzo, 89, of Manalapan, died Feb. 1 at Bartley Healthcare in Jackson. Born in New York, he lived in Woodridge and Oradel before moving to Brick in 1983. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a mason in Oradell before retiring .Mr. Roccuzzo loved music and frequently played his accordion and sang for his family and friends. For the past several years he enjoyed playing and singing for the residents and staff at Bartley Healthcare. Mr. Roccuzzo was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor, in 1997, and his sister Ida. He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Rae of Manalapan, and Ralph of Brick; a sister, Mary Avella of California; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Freeman Manalapan- Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Interment was at George Washington Memorial park in Paramus. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, P.O. Box 31160, Harford, Conn. 06150-1160.
