Opatut, Aaronson will be honored by YMCA

On March 14 the YMCA of Western Monmouth County will celebrate the 87th annual Black-tie Gala at the Battleground Country Club, Manalapan.

The Gala Committee led by Chairman Kenneth Thomson, Freehold, announced the selection of honorees Abraham S. Opatut of Freehold, who is the president of Colonial Foods Inc./Colonial Marketing Associates, and Jack Aaronson, owner of All Jersey Janitorial Service, as this year's recipients of the YMCA Community Service Award for their efforts in building strong kids, strong families and strong communities.

Heilbrun, Pape and Goldman, Dr.Morris Washington and Central Jersey Bariatrics, Rosenfarb Winters LLC and Central Jersey Emergency Medicine Associates are among the major sponsors of the event. All proceeds will benefit the YCares Financial Assistance Program.
