Doo-wop concert slated for Manalapan library

RB Express will perform a free doowop concert at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive March 30 at 2 p.m.

The group has been featured at many local venues throughout the Jersey Shore area with a wide repertoire spanning from the 1940's to the 1970's. Exemplifying the tight harmonies and rhythms of early street corner doo-wop, RB Express features the musical talents of Rick Davis, Ern Lackey, Vince Mendoza, John Maloney, and Mike DelFranco. The group recently recorded its second CD.
