William "Bill" Cannon

Mr. Cannon, 68, ofMonroe, Ga., and formerly of Freehold Township and Carlsbad, Calif., died Thanksgiving morning 2007 after a long battle with prostate cancer. A former U.S. Air Force pilot, Mr. Cannon had been retired from Trans World Airlines since 1988. He was a graduate of St. John'sUniversity,Queens,N.Y.Hewas a communicant of St.Anna's Catholic Church,Monroe, Ga., and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Cannon is survived by his wife of 44 years, the former Ann-Marie Nicastro; two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna and Patrick Brandenburg of Loganville, Ga., andDenise Cannon Williams of Bothell, Wash.; three brothers, Walter Cannon and Richard Cannon, both ofNew York, and Robert Cannon of Massachusetts; four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Masses were celebrated at St. Anna's Catholic Church in Monroe, Ga., and at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, Carlsbad, Calif. Inurnment was at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton.
