Elizabeth J. Sciortino

Mrs. Sciortino, 68, of The Villages, Howell, died Jan. 23, 2008, at home. Born in Queens, N.Y., she had lived there before moving to The Villages seven years ago. Mrs. Sciortino was employed by the Howell Township Board of Education as a kitchen aide at Taunton School. She was a parishioner of St. Veronica's Catholic Church, Howell, and a member of her community's senior social club. Surviving are two sons, Joseph Sciortino of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and James Sciortino of Hauppauge, N.Y.; two daughters, Susan Campagnola and Jodiann Hauerslev, both of Howell; a sister, Mary Sonnenburg of Ozone Park, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Veronica's Church, followed by entombment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.
