Malysz will chair zoners

MARLBORO - Glenn Malysz was elected chairman of the Marlboro Zoning Board of Adjustment when the board held its annual reorganization meeting Jan. 8.

Malysz was the board's vice chairman last year.

Michael Fishman, who chaired the panel in 2007, was elected vice chairman for 2008.

Board member Robert Knight was selected as the board's secretary, succeedingAdrienne Spota in that position.

Matthew Weilheimer began a fouryear term as a regular member of the zoning board. He previously served as an alternate member of the board.

Steven Pitchon was appointed to a two-year term as Alternate No. 2.

Michael Mahon, who previously served on theMarlboro Planning Board, was named to the zoning board to complete an unexpired term which will end on Dec. 31, 2010.

Weilheimer, Pitchon and Mahon were appointed by the Township Council on Jan. 3.

Marlboro zoning officer Sarah Paris said a new planner was named during the zoning board's reorganization meeting. Thomas Scangarello, of Scangarello Associates, Medford, will replaced Jennifer Beahm of Birdsall Engineering as the board's planner.

AttorneyMichael Steib and engineer David Thesing will remain with the zoning board.
