Ann M. Pfeiffer

Mrs. Pfeiffer, 80, of Freehold Township, died Dec. 24, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Newark, she was raised in East Orange and had lived in Middletown and Manchester before moving to Freehold Township in 1994. Mrs. Pfeiffer was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, knitting and needlepoint. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Theodore Pfeiffer, as well as two sisters, Irene Orsini and Marie Mulligan. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Nancy Pfeiffer of Newburyport, Mass.; a daughter and son-in-law, Thea and Scott Sherman of Freehold Township; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
