Evelyn M. Lewis

Mrs. Lewis, 82, of Howell, died Jan. 4, 2008, at home. Born in Edwardsville, Pa., she had lived in the Parlin section of Sayreville and the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge before moving to Howell in 1962. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Dayton E. Lewis, in December. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Dayton E. and Barbara Lewis of Howell; a sister, Carol Superak of Staten Island, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
