Air Force Reserve Chief Master Sgt. Michael J. Ferraro has been promoted to the rank of chief master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Chief master sergeant is the highest attainable rank of enlisted service members in the Air Force. Ferraro is command chief of the 514th Air Mobility Wing at McGuire Air Force Base, Trenton. The reservist has served in the military for 26 years. Ferraro graduated from Howell High School in 1982 and received a master's degree in 1997 from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Fla.
