Manalapan Battleground Prep Orchestra auditions

The Manalapan Battleground Prep Orchestra is seeking new members for the junior orchestra and the advanced string ensemble for the upcoming season. Musicians ages 9 and over who are proficient in strings, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, horn and percussion may audition. Those auditioning should prepare a solo piece and practice 2-3 octave major scales. The orchestras practice Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m. at Manalapan High School, 30 Church Lane, Manalapan, from Jan. 9 through some time in May. There is a registration fee of $75 per person for residents and $90 for non-residents. Call (732) 446- 6811 for an audition time.
