Kindergarten registration set

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP- Registration packets for the 2008-09 Freehold Township School District's full-day kindergarten program are now available in the elementary schools during regular school hours. The packets may be picked up at any of the five schools,Applegate, Catena, Donovan, Errickson or West Freehold, or can be downloaded off the school district's Internet Web site at www.freeholdtwp.k12.nj.us.

To be eligible for registration, children must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 1, 2008, documented by a birth certificate, and have two proofs of residency. Students must have all immunizations including four doses of DTP, three doses of Polio vaccine, MMR, three doses of Hepatitis B vaccine and one dose of Varicella vaccine or a history of chicken pox.Acomplete physical examination performed after Sept. 1, 2007, must also be reported on Form N107 and signed by the physician.All forms and requirements are included in the registration packet.

Registration will take place at the schools on March 12 from 1-3 p.m for students whose last names begin with A-M and on March 13 from 1-3 p.m. for students whose last names begin with N-Z.
