MHS invites MEMS 8th-graders to orientation

The administration, staff and students of Manalapan High School invite all eighth-grade students from Manalapan- Englishtown Middle School (MEMS) and their parents to a special orientation. The orientation will be held Jan. 17, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Manalapan High School on Church Lane in Manalapan. The future incoming freshman will have the opportunity to tour the school and learn about the academic and extra-curricular programs that are available to students.

Parents are asked to be seated in the auditorium by 6:30 p.m., when the formal program will begin. At that time department supervisors will share information regarding the various course offerings available. Only eighth-grade students and their parents should attend the orientation.

In addition, all parents of classified students are invited to attend a meeting in theManalapan High SchoolMedia Center at 6 p.m.

In the event of inclement weather, the orientation will be rescheduled for Jan. 24.
