Dr. Arthur Zoller Dr. Zoller, 90, of Manalapan, died Dec. 12, 2007, at The Manor Care Center, Freehold Township. Born in Newark, he had lived in Irvington and Maplewood before moving to Manalapan. Dr. Zoller attended the University of Michigan and was a 1943 graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. He practiced dentistry for 50 years, first in Irvington and later in Union. He served as a captain in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Essex County Dental Society, the Union County Dental Society and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. Dr. Zoller had also been president of the Irvington YMHA, a member of the Jewish Community Council of Essex County, an officer of B'nai B'rith in Irvington and a member of the Masada Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Miriam Parnes Zoller; a daughter, Vicki Zoller of Springfield; a son and daughterin law, Dr. Kenneth and Tricia Zoller of Sharon, Mass.; and two grandchildren. Graveside services were held at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin section of Woodbridge. Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements. |
