Frances Emma Searby

Mrs. Searby, 86, of Freehold, died Dec. 8, 2007, at home. She was born in Freehold and had lived there her entire life. Prior to retiring in 1983, Mrs. Searby was a food supervisor at the John L. Montgomery Medical Home, Freehold Township. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. Mrs. Searby was predeceased by her husband, Frederick G. Searby, in 1996, as well as two brothers, Edward and Albert McLaughlin, and a sister, Doris Striebel. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Frederick G. Jr. and Diane Searby; a daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Carl Hoitela; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-greatgrandson. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
