Agnes A. Martin

Mrs. Martin, 94, of Freehold Township, died Dec. 7, 2007, at home. She was born in Freehold Township and was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Martin was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. She was also a former member of the St. Rose of Lima Senior Citizens Club and the Degree of Pocahontas, Freehold. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Martin, in 1963; a daughter, Barbara Martin, in 2000; a sister, Mary Ella Murphy; and a brother, Harvey DuBois. Surviving are three sons, Charles Martin of Freehold Township, Alan Richard Martin of Pennsylvania and Lawrence Martin of Jackson; a brother-in-law, Clarence Murphy of Freehold Township; eight grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
