Mae L. Allen

Mrs. Allen, 87, of Freehold, died Nov. 29, 2007, at her son's home in Jackson. She was born in Freehold and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Allen was a graduate of Freehold High School, Freehold Borough, and an active member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Freehold. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry W. Allen, in 2002. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, William H. and Meredith Allen of Jackson, and Wilbur and Bonnie Allen of Virginia; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, with the Rev. Francis N. Hebert, rector of St. Peter's Church, officiating. Interment followed at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township.
