Missionaries to speak at house of worship

On Dec. 30, Monmouth Worship Center, Route 79, Marlboro, will be visited by four former members of its congregation who left last year as Assemblies of God missionary associates to the country of Ecuador.

Joe and Karen Hewes, as well as their daughters, Shari and Katie, former Marlboro residents, have been serving in Ecuador, South America.

In Quito, Ecuador, they work with Univision television, a family-friendly network that can reach 500 million Spanish-speaking people with the word of God and family-friendly news, sports and lifestyle shows.

Joe Hewes will speak at both morning services, 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. There will be a reception at 1 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. All are invited to attend. For further information, call the church office at (732) 332-9600.
