Project Lundy will carry message of safe driving

      Freehold Township High School senior Samantha Patino has decided to turn pain and loss into something meaningful. Patino and several of her friends at FTHS have started a program to educate high school sophomores about the importance of safe and responsible driving.

Info session will discuss new Chinese course work
      The Freehold Regional High School District is planning to join a small number of schools nationwide that are teaching Mandarin Chinese. An informational program describing the new course will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 4 in the auditorium of Marlboro High School, Route 79, Marlboro.

University professor has role in research
      Dr. Michael Palladino, of Howell, associate professor in the Biology Department at Monmouth University, West Long Branch, is a co-investigator with Dr. Geoffrey Capraro, assistant professor at Tufts University School of Medicine, for a $68,591 grant from Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, Mass.
