Joan K. Healy

Mrs. Healy, 71, of Monroe, formerly of Old Bridge, died Nov. 7, 2007, at home. A journalist, she had been employed with Greater Media Newspapers, Freehold, in its East Brunswick office, and, more recently, with the Home News Tribune, East Brunswick. Prior to beginning a career in journalism, she was a substitute teacher with the Old Bridge public school system. She was predeceased by a daughter, Valerie. Surviving are her partner, Larry Fenlon; two daughters, Barbara Criscuolo, and Sharyn Healy, and her husband, Kevin; six grandchildren, Kristina, Jeffrey and David Grabosky, and Joseph, Steven and Lauren Criscuolo; a-son-in-law, Jerry Grabosky; her partner's children, Lawrence Jr., Brian, and his wife, Marjorie, Craig, Kevin and Jeannie; and her partner's grandchildren, Brian J. and Sean. A service was held at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Interment was private.
