Good things expected from new administration
Marlboro did itself proud in this year's municipal election, giving us a principled and dynamic new mayor and two outstanding new Township Council members.

Jon Hornik, Frank LaRocca and Randi Marder represent the best in us, and they will concentrate on being leaders who will put the community before themselves.

I am an elected member of the Democratic State Committee for Monmouth County, but what was so impressive about the Marlboro election was that Republicans and independents interested in good government joined forces with Democrats to give Mayor-elect Hornik and his running mates a landslide victory.

I am confident that under Mayor-elect Hornik's expected dignified and open leadership, people of all political persuasions will help him have a successful administration.

Robert R. Salman
