Residents were spoke to with derision
Iwould like to respond to Lou Newman's comments on Knob Hill ("Residents Should Be Directing Their Management Firm," Letters to the Editor, News Transcript, Oct. 24).

Mr. Newman is apparently a sore loser since he was voted out as board president. Maybe he should look a little harder at his time spent on the board.

When I attended my first-ever board meeting in September (which I walked out of halfway through due to the unorganized nature of the meeting), I could not believe the arrogance and rudeness this so called "President" displayed toward the audience, the Knob Hill residents. His sarcasm and unprofessional manner is what led to his failure.

By the way, Mr. Newman, the board members and their families do use the pool. Why didn't you purchase new pool equipment or throw a responsible, organized party that didn't end up in people fighting with one another? Didn't the police have to come in to control the situation?

A good leader doesn't just set up one "poop" station and feel he has done right by the community. Mr. Newman, the people of Knob Hill have spoken!
