Residents should be directing their management firm
Knob Hill residents, having been on the inside, what follows is how your community works. Things are not as they appear. Life in our regulated community is not being run as written, only as board members allow it. Management (Signature Property Group) is here to facilitate, not dictate.

There are board members who perceive what SPG says is law. When SPG is questioned, they always take the easy way out with the belief that they are accountable to no one. Knob Hill Country Club has a service contract with SPG. It would be out of character for the board to enforce it.

The recent election, overseen by SPG, is an example of the company not managing as they should. Candidate forms had word, and time receipt limits, neither of which were enforced. Board members abused their positions to gain access to buildings (and an unfair advantage), littering them with election fliers. Management chose to ignore it.

Management is more concerned with posting unauthorized "By Appointment Only" signs on the office door rather than working their contracted hours. Management acts as a divisive force between the board and its members.

Board members should have residents' interests in mind, not their own concerns. Govern for the people, not one's self. Our pool is the centerpiece of the community and should be handled as such. Why no pool party, nothing for the children, additional seating, umbrellas that work. Why? Those elected don't use the pool so it's not on their agenda.

To those of us who care about our community, and property values, how sad. As for everyone else, your apathy has gotten what you deserve. This meeting is adjourned.
