For the Record

Following an incident that involved the removal of a campaign sign from property on Gordons Corner Road, Edward Kay, of Marlboro, was charged with criminal mischief, a disorderly persons offense, by Marlboro police. Lt. Peter Pezzullo said the charge was based on probable cause - the torn sign Kay destroyed and his statement about the incident. A previous News Transcript story about this incident did not state that Kay had been charged with criminal mischief.
