Educational foundation announces officers

The Marlboro Educational Foundation, a group of Marlboro residents and business people dedicated to raising funds for innovative and creative programs not covered in the general school budget, has announced its officers for the coming year.

Lisa Naboulsi was appointed as chair of the foundation, replacing outgoing chair Teja Anderson. Bennett Gewirtz was appointed as treasurer and will replace Cris Gansman. Re-elected as officers were Barbara Spilken as vice president and Lynn Franco as secretary. The board also reappointed Lynn Franco, Bennett Gewirtz and Joyce Sugarman as trustees.

Anderson and Gansman will remain as trustees of the foundation.

The foundation announced that it is beginning its fall donor campaign. Tax deductible contributions of any amount are appreciated, according to a press release.

Future fundraising events will include the third annual restaurant tasting event, a wine tasting evening, and teacher appreciation week. The foundation is seeking new members. For more information call (732) 817-1482.
